Jason Statham reprises his role as the hitman Arthur 'The Mechanic' Bishop alongside Jessica Alba and Tommy Lee Jones in this action thriller sequel.

After retiring as a contract killer, Bishop attempts to put his murderous past behind him by starting a new life in Brazil with girlfriend Gina. However, when Gina is kidnapped by a formidable enemy, Bishop is ordered to carry out three seemingly impossible assassinations on very high profile targets if he wants to see her alive again.

Facing a race against time, Bishop must do all he can to complete his objectives before it's too late.

Vincent quickly enlists the help of Ava (Lotz), an expert on A.I., and the combination of their skills proves fruitful indeed. Such is the chemistry between Vincent and Ava that they begin a romantic relationship, which leads Vincent to confide to his partner that the conscious machine they've constructed together shares certain similarities with his ill daughter. This seems certain to cause problems when MOD bigwig Thomson (Denis Lawson) uses his authority to move the project in a different direction and Vincent loses control of his creation...

British drama set amidst the rave scene of the early 1990s. The film follows the exploits of 20-something best friends Matt (Henry Lloyd-Hughes) and Dylan (Jack O'Connell) as they progress from partying at illegal warehouse raves to becoming successful promoters at the peak of the scene in Manchester, Amsterdam and Ibiza. But whilst their success increases, their friendship begins to unravel as they become caught up in a dark and sinister world and lose sight of their dreams.
